Carrousel Stables Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, newly renovated home with the original construction dating to 1880. The B&B is conveniently located 40 miles west of Omaha and 20 miles north of Lincoln, on the Oxbow/Mormon Trail. We offer a quiet and serene setting in our home located on twenty-four acres at the end of our own country lane. The country setting offers guests a retreat where the silence is only broken by the sound of the wind in the trees or the singing of the birds.
Country style antiques located throughout the house provide a cozy atmosphere. All guest rooms offer
elegant linens, pillow top mattresses, and guest robes for your comfort and pleasure. Additionally, each room has a sitting area for reading and a private en suite bath with heated tile or marble floors to make your stay warm and inviting.
You are invited to enjoy your favorite gourmet coffee beverage from our espresso machine on the wrap-around porch in the spring/summer or near the inviting fireplace in the fall/winter. Numerous bird feeders provide an excellent opportunity to bird watch from the porch. Breakfast starts with coffee or tea and a homemade snack in our parlor, dining room, or on the wrap-around porch. Breakfast may include eggs cooked to order or an egg dish, seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, Belgian waffles, French toast, pancakes, ham steak, bacon or sausage from the local meat locker, and freshly baked coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, etc., depending on availability and your personal preference or diet requirement.
A bottomless cookie jar brimming with homemade cookies is available to guests with a sweet tooth. Complimentary popcorn and sodas are available for your enjoyment in the recreation room, where you are invited to watch TV, play cards, board games, pinball, or enjoy a game of pool. The living room is available for guests' use for TV viewing, reading, and relaxing near the fireplace on a cold day.

Year-round swimming is available in our 60' X 100' cedar lined addition, featuring a full size indoor heated swimming pool and 5-person hot tub. A treadmill is also available for those guests that wish to continue their fitness program.
Horse accommodations are available for overnight guests at an additional charge. Gently rolling 24 acres with grass, trees, pastures are available for walks and picnics. Deer, beaver, wild turkey, pheasants and a variety of birds and other wild animals can be seen in the local area. Roxie, our short haired Border Collie and Canine Ambassador, will entertain you with her various tricks and is available for walks and companionship, if desired.
